The Empire of Prolix and the Holy Tir’anian Republic of the Elven Country agree to the following method of economic trade between themselves:

A) One or two citizen(s) of each nation to be appointed as Trademaster/mistress, affirmed by the leaders of both nations, to move and record goods from the merchants of his/her represented nation to the other nation, while acting responsibly, honestly, and on good faith to not tamper with the goods or sales.

B) Two vaults are to be built in each nation: One will be with access limited to only the leaders and their trademasters; the other will be with access to only all citizens of the nation it is in.

C) To protect the internal economy and sovereignty of either nation, a fee of access to a nation’s vault may be imposed upon the other nation’s trademasters at the discretion of the law-making bodies of the nation.

D) All goods sent to a foreign nation’s vault must be accurately and honestly recorded in the “Global Market” Forum Section as a reply in a single thread titled “Trades Sent to ___(Foreign Nation Name)___”. Items to be recorded should include date and time of delivery, names of items delivered, amounts of each item delivered, and the total SP worth value of the basket of goods delivered.

E) After a nation receives a delivery of goods, it is required to trade back to the other nation a supply of its own goods that is at least equal in SP value to the goods delivered to it. A nation has at most 15 days after the delivery to make this trade back payment. It is duly noted here that it will always be in a nation’s best economic interest to raise the value of the traded basket of goods in order to receive a higher return, which will continue to perpetuate the economy.

F) The following raw materials are listed as being unique to Prolix’s trade route and may only be sent from a Prolix vault to a Tir’an vault: Lumber, Lead Ore, Silver, Gold, Copper, Iron. Also, the following raw materials are listed as being unique to Tir’an’s trade route and may only be sent from a Tir’an vault to a Prolix vault: Salt, Wheat, Oranges, Pears, Tomatoes, Crystal. All other raw materials, excluding items found in quests, are considered fair game to be traded by either trade route. The purpose of this is to ensure that each nation maintains sovereign power over an equal amount of its own natural resources.

G) If at any time a nation suspects that a Trademaster is not doing his/her job honestly, then that nation reserves the right to conduct an investigation of the character traits of the questionable Trademaster and to have their case judged by a collective of three individuals: the nation leaders of both nations involved and one outside person whom has never been a citizen of either nation.

H) If it any time the political, economic, or social stability or integrity of a foreign nation falls into doubt, then an economic sanction may be imposed upon the foreign nation to halt further trade and any outstanding debts until the matter can be solved between the nations.

I) This trade agreement is to come into effect immediately upon a leader’s signature and must be reaffirmed and revised to keep up-to-date at least once every four months.

J) Example Scenario: Tir’an and Prolix both appoint one or two people to serve as Trademasters. Trademasters must be approved by the leaders of both nations. Tir’an will build two vaults, preferably underground, within the national boundaries. One vault will only be accessible to the leader of Tir’an, the trademasters of Tir’an, and the trademasters of Prolix. This vault will be where the Trademaster of Prolix brings goods, whether freely or a fee of access to be paid, from Prolix merchants into Tir’an and uses “/store” to keep them there until the Tir’an Trademaster or leader sorts the goods out and distributes them to the second vault. The second vault will be where the citizens of Tir’an have access to, whether freely or a fee of access to be paid, collect the goods from the vault. Tir’an pays for these goods by matching at least the exact worth of the goods in terms of its own goods on its own trade route to the Prolix vaults.

B) At least one vault is to be built in each nation, with access limited to only the leaders and their trademasters.

C) To protect the internal economy and sovereignty of both nations, quotas may be imposed by one nation during its specific trading turn. A quota may only range from 20 – 100 units of product. A new quota may not be established by a nation until all outstanding trading debts are paid off.

D) All goods sent to a foreign nation’s vault must be accurately and honestly recorded in the “Global Market” Forum Section as a reply in a single thread titled “Trades Sent to ___(Foreign Nation Name)___”. Items to be recorded should include date and time of delivery, names of items delivered, amounts of each item delivered, and the total SP worth value of the basket of goods delivered.

A nation has at most 30 days after the delivery to make this trade back payment.
